Set in an unspoilt, sheltered bay amongst evergreens and pines is award winning Blackpool Sands - one of South Devon's most beautiful natural treasures.
In fact, with it's superb golden beach, turquoise blue sea and magnificent pines, it has an almost mediterranean feel. But don't just take our word for it, come and see for yourself.
SEA:
Lifeguards on duty in July & August. Swimming, sailing, scuba diving, fishing and watersports. Water tested by the Environment Agency. Bathing raft from July.
BEACH:
Cleaned daily in the summer. Sand pits for sand castles - (available from May, weather permitting).
THE VENUS BEACH SHOP:
All you need for a great day on the beach. Buckets & spades, nets, inflatable boats, turbo & fun tubes, boogie boards, fins, masks, snorkels, wetsuits, swimsuits, footballs, frisbees, cricket bats, boules, beach shoes, sun cream, towels, wind breaks, beach mats, sunglasses, hats. Excellent range of clothes & accessories by Circle One, Sola, Cult, Weird Fish & Earth Nymph. Deck chairs and windbreaks for hire.
WATER SPORTS :
Surf, ski, windsurfing, kayak, boogie board, wetsuit, snorkelling equipment. Instruction or hire by the hour or day.
THE VENUS CAFE:
Located right next to the beach. Stunning views of the sea and cliffs. Serving hot and cold food and drinks all day. Outdoor seating and takeaway menu...
DOGS:
No dogs permitted in the car park or on the beach.
